Guardian Homecare East Midlands is a quality
provider of Care in the Community.
Guardian Homecare is committed to providing a quality
service and has laid down procedures designed to achieve this.
We are members of the United Kingdom Homecare Association and
embrace their code of practice.
·
·We are committed to Person Centred and Holistic approach
to Care Planning. This means that as we put together an individual
and detailed care plan for each Service User, the Service user,
their family and representatives are central to all decisions
and the package is built around the Service User requirements,
taking all aspects of their life into consideration.
Families and representatrives are always encouraged to work in
partnership with us and we are sensitive to the impact community
care has on all people involved.
We work very hard to promote independance, which
means that we encourage people to do as much for themselves as
possible to remain as independant as possible in their own home.
We take our responsibility to protect vulnerable adults very seriously
indeed and have policies and procedures in place to achieve this.
Measures include full staff training in adult protection and security,
all staff fully vetted including a CRB check and references and
a close working relationshgip with Derbyshire Social Services
who have the primary responsibility for investigating any suspicians
of this nature.
Some of the services we provide are:
Personal care - showering, bathing, getting up, going to bed etc
Domestic chores - cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing etc
Respite sitting - allowing relatives to take some time out
