17" Owen Sidesaddle for sale In pristine
show condition, no marks or blemishes.
Complete with all straps, original stirrup fitting and leather,
and folding leather girth.
Recently had new suede seat - barely used since.
To give an idea of the quality, it went to the Nationals and
helped to get us a 2nd overall for turnout in the Adult Open
Equitation a few years ago.

New style Side Saddle that is in excellent condition that was
made by Robert Jenkins at Malvern Saddlery specifically for
a Dales Pony. The Saddle is a Havana leather with a lighter
doe skinned seat in the Owen Style, complete with the safety
stirrup and is extra wide. It is on a wickham pad so it would
be ideal for a flat backed cob type horse/pony. I think that
the size is approx 15” to 16”. I also have 2 girths
and balance straps that are included in the asking price of

OFF-SIDE side saddle, c. 1920's. 16" seat, med/wide to
wide fitting- fits variety of horses from a round low withered
13.2hh Welsh Section C to a chunky 15.3hh TB.
Comfy flat and wide doeskin seat and pommels, roller bar stirrup
fitting. Girth straps are forward placed for maximum set which
is execellent for those
horses whose saddles tend to slide forward.
Saddle is in VGC, serge needs patching under the right safe
but not obvious once on horse.
Linen and overgirth replaced by previous owner. Leather has
been well cared for and has a lovely dark patina. A wonderful
saddle for those who
like to "swap sides" or for those who want to rest
poorly right hips like me.
£2500 ono or will consider swap for a 17"- 18"
off-side side saddle in same gullet fitting.

Champion & Wilton saddle.18", med/wide fit, serge lining.
It was totally refurbished less than a year ago and is in excellent
condition, comes complete with stirrup leather and safety iron.
It has a tan patch on the fixed horn which was done before I
bought it as the saddle was dried out and light in colour at
that time but I have given it lots of tlc and it has darkened
to a lovely havana brown.

Daniel Thomas navy habit, Size 10. Beautiful cut, heavy weight
wool, 1930's style. Relined jacket and apron, some wear on knee
but totally useable to compete in equitation. Used last two
seasons. Good fit for 5' - 5'3'' person. Can be tried on at
