Current Charity Work

Mooreland Stables currently has the use of a neighbouring field to park on for their shows. To show our appreciation to Eileen and Phil, we are making a donation to the charity of their choice. They have chosen Clic Sargent Cancer Research. There will be a donation box available at shows, so please, please show your appreciation by making a small donation each time you park on the field!!
During 2008, we have raised £110! so well done to everyone!

Liz is currently a commitee member of the Heart of England Ferret Association. This foundation does lots of public relations with ferrets to enhance the profile of ferrets. All money raised by HEFA is then donated to local ferret welfare and rehoming groups. For further info on HEFA, visit www.hefa.org.uk.

Previous Charity Events/Work

Mooreland Stables and Flashpages.co.uk are commited to raising funds for charity. In 2005, they organised a charity equestrian quiz and auction in aid of the Tsunami appeal. This raised over £1400. It was a fantastic evening and the money was much appreciated.

In 2007 Debbie and Liz arranged a charity race night. This was in aid of Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and the Heart of England Ferret Association (HEFA). They raised nearly £400 at this evening which was supported again by the local community.

In June 2008 Liz attended the Holy Cross School in Whitwick to give a side saddle display for their country fair. The day was extremely hot (especially underneath a wool habit and waistcoat!) but also extremely enjoyable! Madge absolutely loved the attention and was an absolute star! Proceeds went to Clic Sargent Cancer Research.
